Outbound Programs A c t i o n Le a r n i n g Programs at CMD CMD is recognized for its extremely powerful Action Learning Programs. The CMD OUTBOUND DIVISION focuses on developing, designing and delivering these outdoor Leadership and Team Building Experiential Learning Workshops. ORGANIZATIONS today require Team Work as an essential ingredient for their success. Even with clearly predefined responsibilities, success is determined by the level of collaboration and interdependence among the co-workers. The dynamic nature of business today has further enhanced the need for an outstanding team work. The concept of STAR Team is rapidly replacing the idea of STAR Performer. TEAM WORK, to us at CMD is a spiritual thing. In our programs we help groups achieve things that they shouldn’t be capable off – Simple plain team work. Team work generates energy, creates ideas, synergizes individuals, solves challenging problems and infuses a sense of camaraderie through trust. Team Work is a series of behaviors in a group that are complementary and mutually reinforcing. CMD OUTBOUND programs facilitate demonstration of these behaviors repeatedly, reinforcing them with appropriate reviews, group discussions, solo experiences and by establishing on job relevance. This helps in achieving a certain level of permanency to the changed behaviors.
CMD OUTBOUND capitalizes on its strength in customization to provide these learning experiences to Business Leaders, Managers and Executives in the client organizations. OUTBOUND programs range from mild lawn / sporting Team Building programs like G.O.L.F to high end wilderness experiences like Leadership Adventures. These extremely powerful programs engage people, empower leaders and accelerate long lasting team bondage. Apparently physical in nature these programs are 80% mental and 40% physical. YOU tell us your Leadership and Team Building needs; Group size (15 to 500); time your team is willing to invest; and your preferred place. CMD OUTBOUND takes it from there, customizing and delivering the program for specified learning outcomes.
Leadership Adventures Business models and organizational structures today require demonstration of leadership capabilities at every level in the organization. Every team member has to perform as an entrepreneur with a high sense of ownership and responsibility to deliver PNL results. Organizations and individuals must take risks to leverage learning and achieve audacious objectives. Today, true leaders are experienced adventurers, who can lead their teams with a strength of character, have people insight, develop and inspire teams, think and plan strategically, be extremely creative in problem solving and decision making and have lust for achieving results. They are willing to explore un-trodden paths. A high pressure and high intensity learning experience, Leadership Adventures is carefully customized to meet specific developmental needs of the individuals in line with the organizational cultures and objectives. CMD’s team of management trainers, logistics managers, wilderness experts and researchers work in a highly coordinated manner to ensure that the learning from our LA program has a direct relevance with on-job application. This critical aspect of the program is achieved through a seamless integration of various teams of the CMD program under one cohesive plan. Carefully researched and designed diagnostic tools specifically for the program help participants determine their leadership agenda for future.
Vision provides the team a sense of direction and energizes team members
to keep moving towards the big picture. “Visioning as a Team” shares with your team the practical ideas on how to appreciate the past, live in the present and create the future. Creative games and practical exercises will facilitate organizational leaders to capitalize on the team’s potential. They will also get ideas on making team a co-creator in turning the organizational vision into progress, profitability and prosperity.
Team Olympics is a highly interactive bonding program that energizes the teams while tapping into their creativity, communication and interpersonal skills. Participants learn key principles of team building and leadership in a dynamic learning environment that includes instructions, practice, competition and collaboration. Less physical and more mental activities embedded with enthusiasm and excitement take participants back to their childhood. The lessons learned in “Team Olympics” can be applied immediately at the workplace. The full day program can be conducted at any park, lawn, beach, play ground or hall of the hotel. A great way to bring your organization together for hours of enjoyment and learning.
Team Challenge is a high-energy program that promotes expanding comfort zones with the help of activities that challenge both the mind and body. In these purpose built challenges, how team members support one another can be a good indicator to how they support one another during their workplace challenges. The challenges bring out the creative side of the mind with a lot of positive energy absorbed and radiated, thus resulting into highly charged peak performing team. A 2 days program conducted outdoors where bonding is guaranteed. CMD works with client to choose the best mix of challenges, level of debriefing and team development components. A one night camping based program provides life time adventure to the individuals and team.
This fun filled program capitalizes the natural links between business and golf to deliver powerful action learning even to non-golfers. Prior golf experience is not required in this highly involving and entertaining program that promotes team work with lots of fun through various competitive and collaborative activities. Individuals and teams learn to focus on their targets even in high time pressure and rapidly changing scenarios. Participants take very strong lessons with them on team planning, peak performance, goals orientation, continuous improvement and winning mindset.
Teams that learn to survive and succeed together in this action filled program never fail as a team in the workplace. Backed by a series of challenges for the team with facilitated review by the facilitators help participants to continuously improve their team working style in their workplace. Individuals and teams can visibly observe the change in their behaviors that are carried on to their organizations.

The half day program accelerates team performance by rapidly building valuable skills for your teams’ success, essential of them is cooking various dishes of your choice. Team Quiz provides new and existing colleagues work together, to take responsibility for their decisions, and to win or lose by their collective decisions. The half day program contains a variety of rounds carefully designed that are light hearted or mind teasing, gentle or brutally competitive but certainly bringing lot of laughters, fun and learning. Team Quiz is more than just question and answers. The questions and rounds are customized according to the particular needs of clients. Team Quiz can be run as one complete show or can complement the theme of client’s conference. This really does effectively ensure that the corporate message has been remembered.
CAMP (Conference Adventures for
Marketing Professionals) CMD OUTBOUND designs and conducts corporate energizers for up to 500 participants. To make the event highly customized, the activities are selected from an assortment of collaborative, competitive, outdoors, indoors, theatrical, creative, light-hearted, serious fun or just plain hilarious segments. A wide ranging variety of options can be worked out to fit with the conference theme and schedule of client organization. It can be a half or full day team building program or complete facilitation of multi-day conference including team building, leadership, communications or other professional development topics.
